Tonight, look for mostly clear skies and cool temperatures. Low temperatures will be in the mid-50's. We should have southwest winds at 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow will bring mostly sunny skies and somewhat milder temperatures with increasing clouds tomorrow night. Highs will be in the upper-60's. Expect southerly winds at 5-10 mph.
On Monday, we should have mostly cloudy skies, breezy conditions and mild temperatures. Morning lows will be near 60 and afternoon highs in the upper-60's to near 70. Look for southerly winds at 15-20 mph, gusting to 25-mph.
SHORT TERM OUTLOOK:Sunny skies and cool temperatures will prevail today as high pressure continues over the area. We will see somewhat milder conditions appear by tomorrow afternoon with increasing clouds by Sunday night and breezy, cloudy, mild weather on Monday as Pacific moisture moves in aloft and low level moisture also flows back in from the southeast.
This morning, high pressure is located southwest of the Big Bend and over Utah. Meanwhile, our last cold front stretches northeastward from the Yucatan to the Atlantic off the East Coast of the U.S. Attached lows are located along this front just west of Tampa, over Cape Hatteras and south of New York City. Finally, far to the west, a Pacific cold front is moving ashore over British Columbia and Washington state.
We continue in an amplified pattern with a modest high pressure ridge in the Atlantic off the East Coast, a deepening low pressure trough extending south-southwestward from Canada and the Great Lakes to West Texas and Baja California. Finally, a large high pressure ridge is bulging inland over the western third of the country.
We will continue in a changeable weather pattern with mostly sunny skies and seasonably cool temperatures today and early Sunday. This will be followed by an increase in clouds and rain chances along with mild temperatures from Sunday afternoon into Tuesday with colder temperatures for next Wednesday and Thursday. Clouds and rain may linger through mid-week before clearing skies set in late Thursday into next Friday.
